Say again?

According to the schedule at the multiplex cinema in Paignton, The Cave contains moderate intense horror and violence.

I suggest going to see it, and if you think the intense horror isn't moderate enough (or vice versa) demanding a refund... ;>}

As you are in Paignton, you could get the film on CD, go camping and watch the Cave's moderate horror and violence intense(Sorry, bad joke).

The BBFC's linguistic sensitivities are evidently more than equal to their cinematic ones. I think moderate refers to the frequency of the H&V (as opposed to frequent or occasional), while intense refers to the intensity. I presume both quantities are calculated by the censors to the requisite degree of precision, with stopwatches in one hand for the frequency and strange, hairdryer-like devices in the other hand for measuring the intensity.
